Lucky Draw Mission Tips and Tricks

 a post by Kiyoko Ball

.

PRO TIP: Dice can be carried over from one game to the next!
Here you see that I was able to carry over 35 dice saved from the last game.
It usually takes 120 or so dice to complete ten rounds, sometimes less.

How it works: Dice can be carried over to the next round by completing the mission activities of your choice and converting the points to dice. Do not use the dice to roll around the board.
All unused dice appear in the next round of the Lucky Draw, similar to Bingo tokens.

Accumulate dice by completing selected mission activities for a couple of rounds, then choose when to use them to complete all the spins for a reward.
Since I first accumulated around 60-70 extra dice I have been able to complete the Lucky Draw every time if most of the mission activities are completed during the current round.
I then carry over the extra for next time.

Hope this helps!

BINGO for Free Rewards

 a post by Kiyoko Ball

.

.

BINGO BASIC TUTORIAL

Bingo runs in six rounds of about five days each over three months. Bingo ball tokens carry over from one round to the next. Create Bingo (five in a row horizontally, vertically, and diagonally) to get points. Use the points to purchase rewards from the Reward List.

Q&A:
How do I know what round we are on? Under the main Bingo! sign it will say "Season 26 Round 2" or something like that. There are six rounds to each season of Bingo.
Why can't I see all of the rewards now? As each round progresses, more rewards are uncovered, so we never know what the higher value items are until later in the season.
If I purchase extra cards do they carry over? No, extra cards are only good for the round they are purchased in. For each round you must decide how many extra cards to purchase.
How do I get extra Bingo Ball tokens? Post tokens every four hours. Collect up to ten tokens from your feed. Extra bingo ball tokens carry over so it is helpful to post and especially collect as many tokens as possible. Of course extra tokens are available to purchase for an RC premium.

My Strategy: This strategy has worked well for me, as long as I am around every day (or almost every day) of the current round to collect ten Bingo ball tokens and use them on the final day of the round.
  • My goal is to collect/win 1000 points per Season. It always takes me the full six rounds to get to 1000-1200 points.
  • Each round I purchase the extra card that costs 1 purple voucher. If by the end of round three I am not to at least 500 points, I then purchase an additional third card for 3 yellow vouchers. Usually I don't need three cards every time to reach 1000 points (unless I am gone a lot during a round and have fewer extra tokens).
  • Every day of the round I collect the maximum 10 bingo ball tokens from my facebook feed. I also make an effort to post extra tokens several times per day. Usually this gives me 65+ extra tokens by the last day of the round.
  • The mission will remind you that it is not advisable to start using your Bingo tokens until all the Bingo numbers have been allotted from the left side. of the mission window This takes several days, so just hang tight and collect extra tokens to use.
  • After all the numbers have dropped, I use my extra bingo ball tokens to try and get as many points from my cards as possible. It takes 6 or 8 tokens per extra attempt.
  • I go back and forth between my cards, clicking once on the best spot that will give me a Bingo. If an extra token does not fill in the spot, I skip back to the other card and try the next best spot there. Then I go back to the first card and try the same spot again. I have never had it take more than 3 tries to fill in a spot. If there are two spots that are equally good, I try one and then the other, rather than clicking the same place over and over.
  • Always use good Bingo strategy, looking for the spot that will give you the most full lines with the least number of extra tokens. Sometimes you can get Bingo in two directions.
  • I fill in the cards to hit 90-120 points on each card and then stop for the round. The sweet spot is 120 points on each card. Since there are six rounds, I just need an average of 180 total points from both of my cards for that round to get to 1000 by the end of the season.
  • The more the spots on a card are filled in the less likely you are to get a usable Bingo from your extra tries.
  • If a card gets to 120 points, I don't try to get any more wins from it unless the other card is a dud and has mostly open spots.
  • When I get down to my last few extra tokens, I decide whether they would be better if carried over to use in the next round. If my cards have given me 180 points for the round I always stop there. This means I often carry over 20+ tokens each round.
  • I have never purchased extra Bingo ball tokens with RC to hit 1000 points except once, several years ago.

The Extra Tip: Don't forget to collect ten extra Bingo ball tokens from your feed on the day that the round goes off line. Your neighbor posts are still active for 24 hours and the tokens will accumulate for you even though the round itself has closed.

Even if you don't want to get to 1000 points, the 500 point reward is always a useful Shop level up item, so it is worth taking a few minutes to reach that reward level.

I hope this tutorial helps you! Happy Farming!

Understanding the Global Event

a post by Kiyoko Ball

.

.

Why Do Some Players Rank so High?

The Global Event involves every player who joins in the mission. If, as a farming community of neighbors, we meet the total point goal set by the game developers, every player who donated the minimum number of points or more receives the final reward. This final reward will be the value of the mission for most farmers.

The cost is usually a new RC crop and possibly a machine if you are a newer player. Neighbor Farmers make the global order items and sell them in the mission to add to the total score.
If most players contribute just the very minimum number of points and then stop working the mission completely, the Global Goal may not be reached. In that case, no one will get the Final Reward. It is important to contribute a bit more than that, even and especially if you aren't going to be one of the "top 800". Ranking is not the true purpose for this mission. The purpose is to reach the global points goal.
The Global Event rewards in three ways:
  • Once the global goal is met, all players who contributed at least the entry level of points will receive the Final Reward at the end of the mission.
  • The top players from each of the Tiered Leagues receive a collectible and some Honor Points. Find your League by clicking The Check Ranking green button, then look at the tabs, which will show Level XX League, Current Event, and Previous Event.
  • In the "Top 800" rankings, the top 200 players overall receive an additional reward and some RC, and another 600 players get some Honor Points.

Most players don't rank in the top 800, but with a little strategy and some persistence you can rank for your League. But even if you don't "rank" at all, so long as you donate at least the minimum number of points (and hopefully a bit more for good measure) you should receive the Global Event Final Reward.

How do some players start out the mission with thousands of points?
  • The developers can and do investigate farms where illegal activities occur and perpetrators are banned. While it is unfortunate that this has happened in the past and quite possibly continues to this day, high ranking players do have the ability to put out very big numbers using fair means available to anyone who is willing to do what it takes. How do they do it?
  • Family Farm runs several platforms, and each mission is rolled out over several days. The mission details are the same for each platform, so by having a farm on the platform that starts each mission, you will have access to that information "in advance" for classic Family Farm.
  • Or you can join the Facebook Felicia into the Wonderland World Group, where the Admins take time to post those early mission details to the group.
  • Family Farm releases the crops a day or two in advance for missions where ranking is involved. They announce new items that are coming up on their Facebook page so you can watch for them.
  • High ranking players purchase the new crops as soon as they are available. They plant and harvest continually to create a stockpile. They also keep a big stockpile of other crops and useful products in their barn.
  • High ranking players purchase multiple machines and use farm aids to feed large numbers of crops to these machines. Perhaps they have built out their farm with super soil, or purchased extra RC to spend on rainbow rain. Where does lots of extra RC come from? The only way I know is to purchase it with cash.
  • High ranking players keep their farm up and running 24 hours a day. They watch for the event to begin and get started immediately, setting alarms and never shutting down their computers for the duration of the event.
  • Some people want to be number one, or they are collectors and want All The Stuff. Only a handful of people can be in the top three!

All this work for a machine that will probably never be used for anything except a few production trophies.

The rest of us have common sense. We want to get the Final Reward. We might also level up, and it is supposed to be fun!

A handful of ambitious players cannot close out the Global Goal. We all saw that in one of the 2023 events, and at least once previous to that. If we don't all work together, we won't get the Final Reward. That is what this is all about. I hope you will join those of us who are trying our best to get that final reward for everyone!

I hope this helps to better explain why this mission can have value! Happy Farming!

FAST Level Up = FREE RCs......  Wooo Hoooo
.

I wasn't around when the last Golden Goose Event was ending... and had a large amount of the golden grain & boodles of all 3 types of eggs left unopened in my gift box when the event ended. I saved them instead of trading them off for OPs hoping that when the event started again, I would have a nice head start on rocking the event. That final photo shows the items left over after the event ended

10,439 grain & 96 of the 3 types of golden eggs total

Though a great theory, the Devs thought of this move & made it impossible... double drats right? Oh well, not every experiment is a winner. Do your best to open your eggs before the event ends... & boldly trade the left-overs after the event ends IF you are stuck with them 😃

A Fun happy reminder... while making Golden Grains
we are also generating XPs to help level up - Woo Hoo

~ Simple Clover Chain
Harvest 500 Clover - 500 XP
Cow makes Milk - 500 XP
Grand Total - 1000 XPs in under 15 minutes

Now we have 500 Milk in our stockpile for bigger chains PLUS we generated LOTS of grain for the goose - Cha Ching

~ Note - Toss clover OR pasture grass. I toss both & leave 5 cows + 5 cattle on AUTO & rake in Huge XPs

So, we get 2 points for plain golden egg - BUT we get 5 points for a rare egg & 10 points for each epic egg. So, it's an easy cheesy - Lots of FREEbies to be earned & some sweet XPs to go towards Level Ups for the FREE RCs - Woo Hoo.

Whether it is a simple cow OR an exotic like the Time Keeper. The more higher point eggs we earn, the less we will need to complete the event to earn ALL the FREE Rewards!

Be Certain to read the Main Golden Goose post for ALL the good tips to Rock the event, this is just a simple video How-To for adjusting the feeding, ok

Mini Slots = Lots of FREE

 a post by Kiyoko Ball
.

.

Mini Slots- is it worth the daily click? YES! Mini Slots are one of the few absolutely FREE events with good rewards!
  1. First.... MINI SLOTS RANDOMLY GIVE RC AS A REWARD FOR SPINNING!!
  2. Additional Free rewards are found in the left side Pink Kitty icon for reaching increasing numbers of spins. Read on to find out how this works!
With a bit of strategy a first tier reward can be collected every season round by saving up a few extra slot coins.

Here are the basics of how Mini Slots work:
  • One free spin is available every day for 28+ days by clicking the RED SPIN BUTTON. If you have extra slot coins in your gift box they will be used up with each spin click beyond the first free daily spin.
  • Tiers of nice rewards are available in the left side pink Kitty Icon for using extra Slot Coins spins to reach 30 spins, 75 spins, 135 spins, etc. One reward per tier can be chosen. (UPDATE 11/08/22: now 30, 80 and 140 spins)
  • SELECT the reward you wish to receive from the Green Plus box. The reward must show in the column or you will receive the Default Reward automatically.
  • Purchase or save up the extra slot coins needed to get to the higher reward tiers. If you have extra coins in your gift box they will be used up with each additional spin.
  • The Tier Level Rewards often change every round.
  • Spin totals DO NOT carry over from season to season and are reset back to zero.
  • Remember to collect your rewards from the sparking pink kitty at the end of the event!

Maximize your winnings!
  1. SPIN EVERY DAY. You have up to 28 opportunities per season to win a few RC, so remember to click every day!
  2. The reward tiers are found under the Red Kitty Icon.
  3. Click on the GREEN PLUS SIGN. Checkmark the reward you want. You get ONE reward per spin tier, not all. If the Green Plus is still showing, you have not selected a reward.
  4. Personally I think140 total spins, using 110 extra coins is the place to stop. I only use extra coins if there are rewards I do not have.

How do we get extra slot coins?
Of course, Family Farm would love for you to purchase extra slot coins with cash, but they do provide a few FREE Slot Coins here and there as rewards - enough to get a first tier prize every season!

Pet Center animals randomly give out rewards including 777 Slot Coins every 8-12 hours. This event has been offered twice as of 09/2024. If the event is offered again in the future, you may want to consider opening all four animals for the 777 slot coin potential.

Collectible items that gives Slot Coins as a reward are given in certain missions. Watch for them - and set them out to collect the coins!
Save your extra Slot Coins if you do not want the first tier reward and also do not want to gamble on the odds for getting RC with extra spins. Extra coins carry over from season to season so you can save them up for a huge spin session at some point.

Happy Farming!

Hydra Treasure Mission Tips and Tricks

a Post by Kiyoko Ball

Hydra Treasure
Mission Tips and Tricks
.

  • ~ Cannonballs and Bait may carry over to the next recurring mission. (Possibly a recent change)
  • ~ The Daily Package tab on the left side offers 8 cannonballs and 1 hydra bait each day. Don't forget to click and collect!
  • ~ Cannonballs and Bait take four hours to make. Get started making them right away. For this mission, you may be able to harvest from others to get by. Turn on the auto button to keep them going!
  • ~ It takes a bit of time to fire the cannonballs and collect the randomly awarded crystals. It may be easier to work at the rounds a little here and there rather than waiting until the last day.
  • ~ If you have difficulty hitting the targets, try picking them off from nearest to farthest. This way, if you overshoot, you are likely to hit one anyway. Aim for the barrels. There is no time limit so you can go slowly, or even stop mid-round and resume later without losing your place.
  • ~ The reward shop has historically offered one new to everyone item each mission. By running the workshop 24/7 during the entire mission, enough bait may be accumulated to select two high value rewards by trading tokens.
    .
Fireballs and Golden Crabs - These items help you collect more tokens to trade for rewards. Personally I think they are far to expensive. That being said, the only time I have been able to trade for three rewards was using a few fireballs and one golden crab, which give one minute of unlimited bait and kills all the hydras at once. (These were rewarded from somewhere else in the game, the first time it came out.) The reload is still pretty slow.

Theme Park Store Event

 a post by Kiyoko Ball

.
MY STRATEGY FOR THEME PARK STORE
The Theme Park Store is back again. We have a full two weeks to get it done. There are items to purchase in the TP Voucher Shop. (RC trees for FREEEE!!!)

How do we get through an event like this without spending tons of RC and becoming constantly frustrated?

Be patient, and happily delete, delete, delete away any and all customer orders that you cannot do with the gears and habitats you currently own.

UPDATE: It appears the algorithm has again changed and you may find that making an RC purchase of a needed item makes a big difference in getting doable orders. Make note of what keeps coming up and pick one of those items.

In the meantime, while you delete away (promptly every sixty minutes if you can manage!), use the planting guide Storage Amount tab to boost your barn supplies of all your open crops, and try to have at least 100 of all your crops on hand, ready to make the items you need!

Remember, you have a full 16 days to run this event.

Delete anything that takes longer than two hours to make, and then make one or two of those items anyway... for next time! Better for the system to get you an order you can fill than wait six hours to make an item. Once you have all the TPS Coins you need and trade them for the event gifts, the system usually gives you just vouchers going forward.

A tip on how to make just one of something easily and without needing gas: Isolate the machine you want to fill so you can view it easily. Click the Auto Fill button on, and watch the Gear Icons rise up from the auto fill. Now turn Auto right back off again and wait a minute for it to process. Turn Auto back on and off again to collect, or collect manually with a careful click. Using Auto to collect will load the gear to create one more item.

I often make three (or 6 or 20) of any item that is needed because if it shows up for an order once it is likely to show up again.

The Theme Park store wants you to get all those obscure gears and habs out of your gift box. I hope you have space in your warehouse for them! Be sure to look in your Gift Box before buying anything!
Like the beanstalk, the Theme Park can be a good time to get at discount on something you have been waiting to buy. Look over the offers and spend wisely. Check EVERYWHERE else for the item before you spend any RC! (Don't be like me and find it on your Garden Ranch after buying something you are sure you don't own...)

My experience is that if I give in and build with RC something that comes up over and over in the orders, the moment the gear is completed it will never needed again for the event. Only purchase something if you know it will have value down the road!

Happy Crafting for this event!
