Lucky Draw Mission Tips and Tricks

 a post by Kiyoko Ball

.

PRO TIP: Dice can be carried over from one game to the next!
Here you see that I was able to carry over 35 dice saved from the last game.
It usually takes 120 or so dice to complete ten rounds, sometimes less.

How it works: Dice can be carried over to the next round by completing the mission activities of your choice and converting the points to dice. Do not use the dice to roll around the board.
All unused dice appear in the next round of the Lucky Draw, similar to Bingo tokens.

Accumulate dice by completing selected mission activities for a couple of rounds, then choose when to use them to complete all the spins for a reward.
Since I first accumulated around 60-70 extra dice I have been able to complete the Lucky Draw every time if most of the mission activities are completed during the current round.
I then carry over the extra for next time.

Hope this helps!

NO RC COLLECTIBLE ITEMS HOUSE to the Rescue!

 a post by Kiyoko Ball

.

Collectible stuff cluttering up your farm yard?

NO RC COLLECTIBLE ITEMS HOUSE to the rescue!

Don't be put off by the build icon in the corner,
because a 5 item Collection Items House can be created
for just 50,000 coins and 20 requests, and an additional 60 requests to store 10 items.
The Collection Items house can be further upgraded
but RC becomes involved after that.

Collection Houses are perfect for stuffing with all the leftover theme store items
and monthly log-in gift collectibles that need to be clicked every 24 hours.
We don't want to pass up on the freebies BUT time and space are prime considerations!
Not to mention saving our wrists from carpal tunnel syndrome.....

I just put a bunch of 10 item Collection Items houses on my garden ranch
for all the 24-hour items that offer greenery, fertilizer, and other small gifts.
Auto Collect uses 1 OP per item but saves all those pesky clicks!
Not to mention all the space saved for other things.

Make your Collection Items House building easier
by sending out the build requests in bunches of 50 or 100
so you will have some parts handy every time another house is needed.
(And remember not to sell them!)

Tips:
  • Build as many No RC Houses as you would like. They will be numbered at the top to keep track of them. (I wish we could name them!)
  • Keep fast timer collectible items in Collection Items Houses on the ranch where you spend the most time farming so they can collect as often as possible.
  • Keep the collectible items with multiple stations together in a single collectible house. (For example, Insect Inn, Marble Snail, Amazon Butterfly Hill, Geode Pyramid, and Satin Carriage just to name a few.) Every month I check the stations to see if they should be changed to another product. It's easier to keep track of them in one place.
  • Place extra Collection Items Houses on a less visited ranch to keep the 24-hour timer collectible items. Don't let your monthly log-in collectible gifts sit in the gift box because you are out of space! Pull them out and put them in a No RC Collectible Items House!
  • Request Collectible Items build parts in larger quantities so you can build houses fast and easy.
  • Check your Collection Items Houses occasionally to see if you have limited product items that have completed their cycles. When complete these can be placed as decorations, stored in the Decoration Warehouse or Regular Warehouse, or sold for a few coins.

We hope you found this tip helpful. I had forgotten that the first ten storage spaces in the Collection Items Houses were available for a just few Requests and no RC... so much clicking that could have easily been avoided!

Understanding Binocular Points

a Post by Kiyoko Ball

Understanding Binocular Points - Demystifying the "BLUE TEAM CRATE"
Every market order crate gives four kinds of rewards:
Coins, XP, market order points, and binocular points. You receive each kind of reward for every crate you fill, blue or not.
  • Coins and XP accumulate the same as if the product was sold from your barn.
  • Market Order Points show how you compare to your neighbors and other farmers on the Market Order Leader Boards. They have no other value.
  • Binocular Points are awarded for EACH crate you fill, blue or not. They accumulate in both YOUR ADVENTURE POINTS totals and also the TEAM ADVENTURE POINTS. You will not have binocular points if you are not currently a team member.
BINOCULAR POINTS show in the MUSHROOM ADVENTURE MAP
The mushroom Adventure map has two sets of numbers in the upper left corner.
The top box shows TEAM ADVENTURE POINTS. These are the cumulative binocular market order points from all team members, past and present, from the inception of the team.
The bottom box shows YOUR ADVENTURE POINTS. These are the cumulative binocular points you have been awarded for filling market order crates while belonging to your current team.

Q: How do green crates affect market order points?
A: The green crates allow you to receive help to complete your market order. Your helper does not get binocular point credit for filling green crates, nor does a team. If YOU fill your own green crates you receive the binocular points as well as your team. Pretty snazzy, right?

Q: What does the blue team crate do?
A: The blue crate allows a team member to help you with a market order and receive the binocular points for the fill. Your team also receives the points since the team member received the points. Hooray, team points!

Q: What if I open and fill a blue crate myself?
A: There is no difference in the points awarded for filling your own orders as blue or regular market order crates. You and your team are awarded the binocular points for each crate, blue or not.

Q: Do I get binocular points if I do not fill all my crates or "send" my truck?
A: You and your team are awarded the points for each crate at the time it is filled. If you do not complete all and send the truck you will not receive the additional yellow or purple voucher reward and will have to wait for the timer to run out for your next truck. It makes sense to ask for help and get that truck moving right along!

Q: My team requires a blue crate to be opened and filled by either a team member or myself. How is this helpful?
A: Some teams "double fill" blue crates for extra points (I will not go into that here today.)
However, you and your team receive the binocular point value of EVERY filled market order crate, whether or not it is first opened as a "blue team crate". If you need help with an item, the team member who fills, as well as your team, will get the binoc value for a blue crate. Green crates do not give binoc points if filled by someone other than yourself. Move on down that Adventure Map!
*****

With your next market order, check the point tally in the mushroom for you and your team as you fill each crate. Notice that the points in both categories go up with every crate you fill, blue or not. You may need to refresh to see the team points change.

If you see something different than I do, please comment!
